I did it to stay in touch for my class reunion. I am a welder and it connects me with the other welders in the union. What ?

I am waiting patiently for a web site called shitlist.com. On shitlist.com you would have a list of people on your shitlist. Instead of that playful e-mail from some freak from high school who added you to his list of 500 friends you would get an e-mail from shitlist.com

Each morning you would check your e-mail and see you just got added to three more shitlists. That would be a good use of the World Wide Web , thanks Al Gore and PS your on my shitlist.

Rumour on the TDF today is that Andy Schleck may have a few surprises up his sleeve for tomorrows time trail. Here you can see Saxo Bank fit guru Linger Hummu demonstrating Andy's new Aero position.

Linger Hummu Miss Luxembourger 1997 has been the Saxo Bank fit guru for the last few years. Andy's position will bring back memories of Greg Lemond and his dramatic TT comeback of yesteryear.

Linger's radical new aero position should do the trick tomorrow. If not they can always go to plan B , transplanting Fabian's legs onto Andy's body. Fabian has been resting his legs all week in preparation for tomorrows TT just in case.

Due to a scheduling conflict Lindsay Lohan will miss WICAM fundraiser. Miss Lohan had been scheduled to be the rider of honor in the 50K ride for sobriety.

The cycling world and Miss Lohan had entered into a partnership to bring more awareness to the world of drinking and cycling. Cyclist have always been encouraged to drink. I mean just look at the 2 water bottle cages each bike come with.

Yes, many riders cant fight the urge to drink and just give into the pressure.In her absence it is asked that all riders keep the drinking to 2 bottles and no going back to the team car for more.

Swimsuit Contest Gone Wild !

WICAM bikini contest gone wild. Here you can see the results of yesterdays contest. The day started with 10 contestants until the final 2 girls were announced.

Miss WICAM 2010 was wearing the Pink suit. The Points leader was in green. She had speed but was unable to wow the judges enough for the overall. If the girl in pink is unable to carry on the responsibilities of Miss WICAM her crown will go to the runner-up.

Thanks again to all the sponsors of the event. The winner received a free skin cancer screening while the runner-up received a free life time tune up from Cyclery USA.

New sister team ?

The new sister team search may officially be over. After pouring through numerous requests . We have landed on the girls of Punkrockcycling. The girls of PRC were impressed with Team Redlands and their altruistic mission.

A PRC official said they were tired of being associated with cycling dudes who fail to see the real mission in cycling. Keely said you see lots of guys at races who seem to appreciate women in cycling. But to create an entire month to WICAM was really truly amazing.

Team Redlands and PRC sister team status is still pending. Team rider Matt Freeman , a player in the LA underground punk scene will be consulted on just how punk these chicks really are. Matt Freeman is also a writer and he has never been consulted as to the daily butchering the English language takes on this Blog.

WICAM swimsuit contest

The annual WICAM swimsuit contest will be held this weekend. Here you can see last years winner. Joy had just that right amount of Farmers tan and unbridled enthusiasm we look for in a contestant.

This years contest will be held Saturday after the Rain Cross ride. The location is the Turners pool on Lakeside. We are still looking for some celebrity judges or local people who think they are celebrities.

Can you find the Swoosh ?

Elin Woods was spotted this week cycling in Flordia. She admitted " the paparazi have made it a bitch to get out for a ride but WICAM got me out the door. "

Elin's cycling kit and bathing suit are absent of the Nike logo. Elin was never a product of her clothing and let her body do the talking. Yep we are all eyes, I mean ears.

Where are they now ?

So what's the deal with this years TDF podium girls. Why are they wearing the black " Gumby" rescue suits from the Deadliest Catch. I expect a certain amount of sexuality from my podium girls.

Here are the podium girls from Rock Racing. Now they know how to decorate a podium. They have that right combination of sex, denim, danger,ink ,gang signs and a cool buckle one looks for in a podium girl.

Meter Maids

Liquigas meter maids were spotted in France to show support for their team. I have Edison and The Gas company as my utility providers.

I have seen Edsion workers in my yard. They could take a que from the good people of Liquigas. The Edison kit is a little drab and frankly it looks like there is someone breaking into my yard.

I called Liquigas to see if I could change providers. They said it would be around $1,000 per month to add one home in the Redlands area. I said yes.

Belgium is now in the rear view mirror of the tour. It sounds like a lovely place with the lure of free beer and a Waffle house on every corner. The problem as we witnessed again. Is they make you ride your bike thru a pasture that is either dry as a popcorn fart or muddy as hell. And apparently Cobbles and Cobbler have nothing to do with each other.

The Burbs

Sorry to interrupt WICAM and the Tour my goal was to have some funny observations about life. But as life sometimes gets in the way that has been the case the last few days.

What is Chopper talking about. I am talking about one more benefit of the housing crisis. Renters. Yep, Just because you live 2 blocks from the country club does not mean your house is free from the renters from hell.

Lets just say last night I watched a grown man supervise his children while they placed there skateboards under there beds and rode them down the driveway and into the street. Did I mention this all takes place between 11 and 12 midnight.

So here is the deal anyone who wants to watch a freak show it starts around 10 pm every evening. No that is not quiet hour that is the time the crew just get going. Map quest to Jordan Drive I promise you wont be disappointed. You might not want to mention my name.

Tour de France preview

The talent is deep for this years Tour de France. I have obtained a sneak peak at the podium girls. This is a true Tour de France preview, WICAM style.

Again the beauty of WICAM is just to appreciate, you don't really need to pick a favorite. But I am partial to the Best young most aggressive jersey girl.

Today is the the official kick-off to WICAM. July is here and with it brings WICAM. Women in cycling appreciation month . Once a dream WICAM is now in its second year !

Many of you are reading this asking yourself what can I do to celebrate WICAM. How can I be a part of a WICAM celebration. Or why is WICAM only once a year? Shouldn't everyday be WICAM and finally is WICAM traded on the Nasdaq.
